Effective management of vaccines is essential to reduce vaccine wastage. The MHRA recommends that core probes with a representative volume are used to measure refrigerator temperature as it gives a direct correlation to the actual condition within the components.

Lec Medical’s new °Control range provides market-leading accuracy in temperature measurement. The new system always measures true vaccine temperature, rather than the air temperature of the unit, safeguarding your vaccines at all times.

Although the “Core” temperature is the primary display on all Lec °Control fridges, you can choose to view the “Core” or “Air” as the primary display. Alarms will operate from the “Air” probe, allowing warning time before the Core temperature deviates and giving you extra time to react to the alarm, thus reducing unnecessary vaccine wastage. Door open alarm has been reduced to 30 seconds avoiding unnecessary temperature fluctuations.
