2025 Webinar Recap: What We Delivered
At Williams Medical, our commitment to the frontline has always been about more than just supplies; it is about supporting you every day.
In 2025, we redoubled our efforts to provide timely, credible, and evidence-based information to help primary care teams navigate a year of significant transition.
Throughout the year, we hosted 13 dedicated webinar sessions designed to tackle the most pressing clinical and operational challenges.
Our goal was simple: to deliver high-quality CPD that is:
• Convenient: Hosted in 1-hour lunchtime slots to fit seamlessly into a busy clinical day.
• Accessible: Delivered online, allowing staff to join from the surgery or home.
• Expert-Led: Feature insights from renowned speakers, including Dr. Claire Mould, Jon Wilks, Susan Jones, Laura Rush, and Caroline Pond
Why Our Webinars Matter
In a fast-paced clinical environment, staying current with the latest guidelines and operational shifts is a constant challenge.
Our webinars are more than just presentations; they are a commitment to timely, credible, and evidence-based resources. Live Q&As also gave our audience the opportunity to have your specific questions answered by experts in real time.
By partnering with industry experts and clinical leads, we aim to provide actionable insights that can be adapted and integrated into daily practice to support clinical excellence.
Who Are Our Webinars For?
Our 2025 series was curated for the entire multidisciplinary team.
Whether you are a GP looking for updates on the 10-Year Plan, a Practice Nurse or NP refining your Spirometry technique, or a Practice Manager building commercial resilience, our content is tailored to the specific needs of:
• General Practitioners & Locums
• Practice Nurses & Nurse Practitioners
• Healthcare Assistants (HCAs)
• Clinical Pharmacists • Practice Managers & Administrative Leads
Expert Speakers You Can Trust
To provide truly credible education, we collaborate with some of the most respected voices in UK healthcare.
Our 2025 speakers brought decades of combined experience to the screen, including:
• Jon Wilks: Chief Executive of the Institute of Health and Social Care Management (IHSCM). As a leading authority on primary care strategy, Jon provided invaluable foresight into the NHS 10-Year Plan and operational resilience.
• Dr. Claire Mould: A specialist in leadership and workplace wellbeing. Dr. Mould’s sessions on managing stress and fostering resilience were among our most highly-rated, providing vital support for frontline staff mental health.
• Susan Jones: Director of Social Care at the IHSCM. Susan brought deep expertise in Systems Leadership, helping practices understand their evolving role within Neighbourhood Health Services.
• Laura Rush: A specialist in Respiratory Health, Laura led our high-demand sessions on Spirometry and FeNO testing, bridging the gap between national NICE guidelines and practical, surgery-level application.
• Caroline Pond: An expert on Practice Reimbursement, who guided attendees through the complexities of Maximising Practice Income and Personally Administered Items (PAIs).
The 2025 Learning Landscape: Trends & Topics
Our 2025 curriculum was guided by the real-world needs of the surgery.
By analysing our attendance data, we can see a clear picture of the clinical priorities that defined the year.
From the urgent need for diagnostic precision in respiratory care to the strategic shift toward "Systems Leadership," these were the pillars of our 2025 learning landscape.
Respiratory Care & Asthma
Respiratory health remained the most significant area of interest for our audience in 2025.
With over 250 clinicians engaging specifically with our sessions on Paediatric Asthma and FeNO Testing, it is clear that primary care teams are prioritising advanced diagnostic skills.
Our FeNO sessions alone saw peak engagement, as practices looked to align with the latest NICE guidelines and improve patient outcomes in asthma management.
Cardiovascular & Chronic Conditions
The diagnostic theme continued into cardiovascular health.
Our "Simplifying ABPI" guide in February 2025 was a standout success, with 122 attendees joining to master this essential skill.
This high level of engagement highlights a strong desire among HCAs and Practice Nurses for practical, "how-to" guidance that can be immediately applied to wound care and vascular assessment.
Practice Support & Leadership
Beyond clinical skills, 2025 was a year of immense structural change.
Our 'Practice Support Series' was developed to address the operational challenges of the modern surgery. Sessions such as 'Commercial Resilience' and 'The 10-Year Plan' provided a crucial space for Practice Managers and Partners to navigate the evolving NHS landscape.
These webinars moved the conversation from "surviving" to "thriving" through better systems leadership and income maximisation.
Women’s Health & Wellbeing
Reflecting the increasing focus on specialist care within the community, our session on Menopause Symptoms, Diagnosis, and Treatment saw a surge in registrations.
Furthermore, we recognised the human element of primary care; by partnering with Dr. Claire Mould to discuss burnout and stress, we provided vital support for the professionals who spend their days supporting others.
2025 by Numbers: Industry Engagement
In 2025, Williams Medical became a central hub for primary care CPD. The following data highlights the scale of our learning community and the high level of engagement from frontline NHS staff.
Learning Impact at a Glance
• Exceptional Engagement: Our 2025 series maintained an excellent attendance rate, significantly exceeding industry benchmarks and proving the high value clinicians place on our live sessions.
• Broad NHS Reach: We supported hundreds of unique practitioners in their professional development journey this year, with a vast majority of engagement coming directly from primary care domains.
• High Intent to Learn: Our registration pages saw thousands of visits, reflecting a massive search for credible clinical answers within the primary care community.
• Growing Active Community: Our dedicated mailing list continues to serve as a primary hub for timely primary care updates.
Why These Numbers Matter for Primary Care
These metrics represent more than just data. They represent a significant commitment to clinical excellence.
With the majority of our attendees using NHS domains, it is clear that WMS is a trusted partner for the NHS workforce. The high frequency of "repeat learners" suggests that once a clinician attends a WMS webinar, they recognize the format as a reliable, convenient way to maintain their CPD requirements.
