Curtains are returned to Marlux Medical’s HQ in Coleshill, where they are sorted and baled for efficient onward processing. This controlled handling ensures traceability and compliance for NHS procurement frameworks.
A licensed waste management partner collects baled material via scheduled routes and consolidates it at a nearby facility in Tamworth.
By minimising transport journeys, the process reduces carbon impact — supporting wider NHS carbon reduction plans.
All waste carrier licences and permits are available upon request for audit purposes.
Once sufficient volume is consolidated, material is transported to a specialist processing site in the North West.
