Sorbsan Plus Carbon

Sorbsan Plus Carbon (for malodorous wounds) has the same absorbent capacity and wound interface layer as Sorbsan Plus. This is combined with a Zorflex® carbon (odour absorbing) layer making this a totally unique combination dressing. Zorflex® carbon has the ability to bind both odours and bacteria

When to use Sorbsan Plus Carbon:

Sorbsan Plus Carbon may be used on wounds where there is a high level of exudate. Sorbsan Plus Carbon is therefore suitable for the management of:

• Partial thickness and full thickness wounds
• Arterial, venous, and diabetic leg ulcers
• Pressure sores
• Post-operative wounds
• Fungating lesions

Sorbsan Plus Carbon may be used in conjunction with graduated compression therapy for the management of venous leg ulceration.
