The GE TONOPORT V is a sophisticated ambulatory blood pressure monitor that has been designed for patient comfort and practitioner usability at its core.

The wearable monitor measures less than 10cm high and 3cm deep and is lightweight at just 199g including rechargeable batteries. Easy to programme, the TONOPORT securely attaches to the patient, allowing up to 30 hours of measurements to be recorded.

The low-noise pump and user-definable settings including inflation pressure control promote patient compliance.

The TONOPORT V can be programmed to take blood pressure measurements at exact intervals or at random times. Day and night options ensure that readings can be taken at all hours, and the collected data can be transferred to a Windows PC or laptop for analysis using the supplied CardioSoft software.

The supplied CardioSoft software allows a practitioner to effectively analyse and visualise recorded measurements. The powerful database can store each patient's history and can export data in a variety of formats for inclusion in a patient management system or for further consultation.

TONOPORT™ V has been approved in accordance with the British Hypertension Society Test Protocol (BHS) requirements.
