The Bedfont® NObreath® is an easy to use handheld device that measures Fractional exhaled Nitric Oxide (FeNO) in the patients breath. The monitor has been designed for use within primary care and can be used on children as well as adults.

To use the Bedfont® NObreath® monitor, the adult patient blows into the NObreath® for 12 seconds (10 seconds for a child) giving an instant result for FeNO in parts per billion (ppb); the higher the FeNO reading, the greater the inflammation in the airways.

The NObreath® has been recommended by NICE to measure FeNO in order to help diagnose and manage asthma symptoms in both adults and children.
