Keito M8 HCM - Patient Record Integration

By using our PatientPod software patient measurements can be stored against a patient’s record in most major GP systems including EMIS Web, TPP SystmOne, Vision and Microtest.

The PatientPod software allows a quick view of recent measurements for monitoring purposes by any PC in the practice as well as the ability to run usage reports.

In addition patients can also be prompted to answer various life style questions using a connected touch screen before the blood pressure measurement starts. Current questions include smoking, alcohol, epilepsy and asthma details. All results are Read or SNOMED coded and saved for peer review before filing individually or as a batch to the patient’s record.

This includes a separate touchscreen to attach next to our M8-PGT monitor. The patient then answers various lifestyle questions before starting the weight, height, BMI & blood pressure monitor working. All the results then are sent to the patients records to be studied at a later date.

We have found that a lot of customers who now have our monitors are adding the integration, as this can be added on installation of the M8 or at a later date if required, depending on a surgeries budget requirements. We have over 1800 of our medically approved monitors throughout the UK and with the adaptability of our integration they have proved quite successful. Data capture for companies in the UK is also available, this is similar to the integration but the information is stored on our secure server.
