Hibiwash is used to disinfect the hands and skin prior to or after an operation or clean procedure (preand post-operative hand and skin disinfection / antisepsis). Hibiwash is also used to disinfect hands after handling infected materials (antiseptic handwashing)

Reformulated to be a more sustainable product, using fewer raw materials and less energy in its production, Hibiwash has the same active ingredients as Hibiscrub and thus the same efficacy.
Is Pyoderm the same as Hibiscrub (Hibiwash)?
No. Pyoderm and Hibiscrub are not the same product, although they both contain chlorhexidine-based antiseptics.
Hibiscrub (Hibiwash) contains chlorhexidine gluconate 4% and is formulated for human skin cleansing. Pyoderm shampoo contains chlorhexidine digluconate 3% and is a veterinary product formulated specifically for dogs and cats.
While the active ingredients belong to the same antiseptic family, the concentration, formulation, and intended use differ, meaning the products are not interchangeable without professional advice.
