C-Reactive Protein Rapid Test Casette

The CRP Semi-Quantitative Rapid Test is a rapid chromatographic immunoassay for the semi-quantitative detection of C-Reactive Protein in whole blood, serum or plasma.

C-Reactive Protein in a patients sera has been found in association with acute infections, necrotic conditions and a variety of inflammatory disorders. Measuring the levels of CRP in a patients sera indicates the effectivness of treatment and the assessment of the patients recovery. It is used in particular to differentiate bacterial infections from viral infections.
