Cardiochek PTS Lipid panel is for use with the Cardiochek PA or Cardiochek Plus analyser to measure cholesterol, HDL cholesterol and triglycerides in whole blood.
Cholesterol measurements are used in the diagnosis and treatment of disorders involving excess cholesterol in the blood and lipid metabolism disorders such as diabetes, artherosclerosis and various liver and renal diseases. Triglycerides are used in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with diabetes, nephrosis, liver obstruction and other endocrine disorders. PTS Lipid Panels and designed for use with capillary or venous whole blood. A MEMO Chip® is provided with each pack of test strips which contains the test name, calibration curve, lot number and expiration date for the strips.
