Cardiochek PTS HDL Cholesterol Panel measures Triglycerides in whole blood. A MEMO Chip® is provided with each pack of test strips which contains the test name, calibration curve, lot number and expiration date for the strips.

HDL (Good) Cholesterol

HDL cholesterol is the good cholesterol because higher levels can protect against heart attack. HDL carries cholesterol away from the ateries and removes excess cholesterol from arterial plaque which slows its build-up.

HDL Cholesterol Ranges

• 1.04mmol/L is lower risk
• 1.04mmol/L - 1.52mmol/L is borderline high
• 1.55mmol/L and over is optimal
