Superior absorption combined with soft adhesion.
Biatain Silicone combines and absorbent foam with a soft silicone adhesive. Once in contact with exudate, the 3D foam conforms to the wound bed which ensures optimal control of exudate and reduced risk of maceration and leakage. Exudate is absorbed vertically and locks it away leaving the wound moist to maintain a moist wound healing environment. It has 3-piece non-touch opening for aseptic and easy application.
Features
• Silicone wound contact layer ensures a secure fit and minimal pain on removal
• 3-piece non-touch opening for aseptic and easy application
• Fits closely to the wound and body making it comfortable to wear
• Semi-permeable top film is bacteria and shower proof
| Indications | Can be used on a wide range of exuding wounds including leg ulcers, pressure ulcers, non-infected diabetic ulcers, donor sites, postoperative wounds and skin abrasions. Can be used under compression. |
