DermLite Cam is been designed specifically for the task of digital dermoscopy. The convenient, powerful camera and lens make examinations faster and more convenient.

The DermLite Camera is a professional, portable unit that allows the capture of high-resolution digital dermoscopic and clinical images quickly and easily.

The camera offers 10x optical magnification with the option to increase this digitally. Illumination is provided by a clear, bright LED mounted in the lens assemble, ensuring that the areas photographed are lit effectively.

Designed to operate without the complicated menus found on most digital cameras, the DermLite Camera captures 5 megapixel jpeg images that can be stored and uploaded for record-keeping and further advice. The camera uses standard SD cards with settings adjusted using a convenient touch sensitive screen.

Featuring a dermatoscopy mode for images taken in contact with the skin and clinical mode which captures images from a fixed distance. An extention arm remains fixed to the camera, ensuring that clinical images can be focused perfectly.

Cross-polarised and non-polarised modes can be selected using a simple button. Switching from one mode to the other involves simply adding a spacer and rotating a lever.

The camera's smooth exterior makes it easy to clean. The body is manufactured from strong, lightweight precision-engineered aluminium for durability, and the contoured grip and base are made with a soft, easy-to-grip material.

The Dermlite Camera is powered by a rechargeable lithium polymer battery which delivers up to three hours of active use. An automatic power-saving function extends battery life by powering down the camera when it's placed on a surface.

The camera is supplied with a foam-lined hard protective case.
