Maxitrol Eye Drops Suspension is a prescription medicine used for the short-term treatment of eye inflammation when antibiotic treatment is also required to help prevent or treat a bacterial eye infection. It contains three active ingredients: dexamethasone (a corticosteroid that reduces inflammation), neomycin sulphate, and polymyxin B sulphate (antibiotics that help combat bacterial infections).

Maxitrol Eye Drops are formulated to relieve symptoms of eye inflammation such as redness, swelling, and irritation while providing antibacterial protection against susceptible bacterial infections. The combination of a steroid and two antibiotics makes it suitable for inflammatory eye conditions where there is a risk of infection or where infection may already be present.
