The Comfi Hook Amniotic Membrane Perforator is designed to safely rupture the amniotic membrane whilst minimising the risk of injury to the foetus. 

The sharp hook cleanly snags the membrane, and the rounded tip ensures that the hook does not inadvertently come into contact with maternal tissue.
