The DermLite DL1 is a small pocket sized device designed to view skin lesions with high magnification and clarity. Four bright LEDs provide even illumination and a special spacer with cross-polarisation provides a glare-free image. A non-polarised spacer may be used for traditional immersion fluid dermoscopy.
A high quality three element lens configuration, designed to provide excellent results with the iPhone 4, 4S or 5, and the included connection kit offers superb colour correction and reduced image distortion for images rich in surface detail. Just imagine taking everything that makes a DermLite such a powerful tool and compressing it into a lightweight product you can clip to your coat or shirt pocket. Its precision machined housing is extremely durable, its battery can be recharged from any USB port and, due to its unique lighting angle, it works as well for ENT exams as it does for dermoscopy.
